We were suppose to be done moving in our new apartment but the apartment wasn’t ready. Grrr…. But on the bright side we now have re-glazed tubs, sinks and counter tops.
We also have a new dishwasher, microwave and carpet. I’m trying to get a new washer and dryer too because they are ancient!
DH isn’t happy about the new place because it falls really short of the model they showed us. I expected it because I’m use to this crap he is not. I told him we only have a year Insha’allah. We are hoping to get a house next year. I have money saved and I’m tying to get $15,000. saved for a down payment and get my credit score higher. It’s not bad but I want it to be really good when we do this. I am excited that I do have a good amount saved!
Ok, got to see our newest family member today. He wasn’t suppose to arrive till the 25th but mama had high BP so he made an appearance Thursday on my MIL birthday! He is adorable!
I have baby fever BAD
Off to finish packing…..have I mentioned how much I hate packing? Then I have to go and clean the new place and stop by Wal-mart and the bank. Not a fun day planed!

Hump Day Ramblings….

Called off today. Yes, I’m a bad team player and employee. I hate my job. Apparently I’m not the only one because we have a lot of people that call in. I thought I was the only one but nope. My floor sucks. I want to work in CCU so bad.
I have packed 7 boxes today. I only have a million more to go.
7 days till we move!
There are a million things that need to be done.
It is freaking hot and my ac isn’t working right. Nor is my fridge. I really effing hate this apartment.
My cat is scared, let me rephrase that, terrified of thunderstorms. It came out of nowhere. My poor baby.
I have washed, dried and folded 8 loads of laundry. At least I was productive today!
I bought a Basal Temperature thermometer, fertility book and ovulation test. Let the baby making begin!:) My mom thinks I’m crazy but I’m see it as being proactive. I’m not in my 20′s anymore not so easy when you hit your 30′s. I know I’m fertile I just need it to stick and end up in the right place this time…
I need new furniture. I have no money for new furniture. But I do have to buy a new couch thanks to my lovely cat and I need a dresser. Ikea here I come!
I hate moving. Packing royally sucks ass.
I need to go back to school but I have no motivation. I know that one of the community colleges is now offering BSN in 2011 so that is the route I plan on taking. I’m all for cheaper and closer to my house!
I’m in love with Glee. DH thinks I’m nuts but it really reminds me of high school. What can I say it’s the Midwest girl in me!
I’m homesick
Middle of the year and I have not done anything to get closer to my goals. I guess I should work on that…..

Limbo

I went on a major shopping spree last week. I need clothes and bought a couple of things for the house.
I need to work out so freaking bad.
We got a mac boo pro. I’m in love!
Really want an I Phone. Hopefully by next month I can get it!
I decided to splurge each month and get a massage. I had one 3 weeks ago and it was pure bliss. I seriously felt like butter.
We move on June 10! Very excited about this! It took forever to find a place and much, much drama. The one apartment that I was in love with didn’t have any vacancies. Which worked out in the long run. The new place is 3 bedrooms instead of three and is a hundred dollar’s less and we don’t have to pay for parking! It has lots more storage and I’ll be able to have a freezer again!!!!!!!! And another bonus is the water is included! So that is a saving of $150.o0 a month. How are monthly water bill is so high I’ll never know. We also pay an outrageous amount in electricity. Like more that my MIL who has a three bedroom HOUSE. This is why I hate this place!
And the big news……We “officially” have started trying!!!! I really thought I was this week. I had a positive test on Mother’s Day but all the others were negative.

I’ve been ultra cranky the last couple of months but now I’m starting to feel better.
I need to get my bum into gear and really start working on my goals
I have a super suck work schedule: On Thurs, Friday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I will surely die!
But on the bright side I will be spending the week in Ft. Meyers after crazy work week. I will be working 65 hours in 5 days with one day off.

So on my list today…..

Must do:

Buy co-worker’s baby shower gift. I don’t know why I volunteered for this…
Buy or make something for Easter party at work.
Grocery Shop
Clean my bedroom and Laundry room
Launder towels, sheets and blankets.

My might to list:

Paint some projects. I primed them yesterday so they are ready to paint
Make a recipe binder
Make a menu for the week after holiday
Fill out application for apartment so I can get out of this hell hole
Balance my checkbook
Make April’s Budget

Well, this was a really boring post but hey I’m know no-one reads this!

It’s been way too cold for South Florida. But it is actually nice today. Gorgeous actually.
Work is CRAZY. Most patients are confused, crazy or both. Which is very hard on one’s sanity.
I’ve been way to grumpy lately. Tired of being broke and tired of being the only one who does anything around the apartment.
Have a full to-do list hoping to get a lot done today. Feeling very motivated!
Have to work tomorrow. Ick…..

Motivation

I really need some so if you have any to spare send some this way please! I can’t believe that it is already February! Where the heck did January go!?! So I am not doing good on my resolutions at all. Surprise, Surprise….

I haven’t been sticking to my routines and I haven’t been planning my day or managing my time well at all.

So today I plan on..

Cleaning a bit. I cleaned my bedroom and laundry room yesterday. I’m hoping to tackle the kitchen and another room today.
Laundry. Lots and lots of laundry. It has gotten way out of hand!

Making some plans and actually doing them.

Grocery shopping so we can eat tonight!

I also opened up my little organizing book and here are my goals for this week.

Find a place to live! (not in the book:)
Get 7 hrs. of sleep a night. This is a huge problem for me. I stay up to late and then I get up late on my days off and I am tired on the days I need to work. I don’t know why I do this to myself but it needs to stop!
Start my day my making a to-do list.
Schedule time to exercise
Schedule a fun activity that I want to do each week. I’m making a list!:)
Take control of my time.

Just got done working my third shift in a row. Now I have 5 days off! I really like doing the three in a row, it’s tough but so worth it. But of course she didn’t give me what I wanted on the next schedule so I will get botched up days again.
There were 12 codes in the hospital today! When I worked the full moon we had two code rescues, two stroke codes, and two code blues on our floor alone. Yeah, and the two code rescues happened at the same time and then two of the code blues happened at the same time. Then we had a code blue right at the start of shift the next day. Pure CRAZINESS!!!
Going to start picking some over time. NEED MONEY!
So jazzed for Sunday, GO COLTS!!!!!
Now off to bed now!

Weekend Roundup

I had a pretty good weekend. I enjoyed myself and feel very well rested.

Friday

Ran some errands with my mom. I really am so happy that she is here! She is so much fun. Even going to Target and Walgreens is more enjoyable now!
A late lunch with my DH, MIL, Uncle and Auntie. Had some really great Indian/Chinese food. YUMMY!
Spent the rest of the night hanging out with mom and DH.

SATURDAY

I was a real bum! I went to JoAnn’s and got some really cute things for Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day. I always like to hang something on the front of my door. I’m weird like that. I had to stop by Best Buy for printer ink and was lucky because I missed the rush. I hate going into that place!
Cleaned the whole apartment! I have three days in a row, Mon., Tues., and Wed. I also have a lot going on when I’m off so I wanted it to be cleaned so I wouldn’t have to worry about it!
I washed all the sheets and blankets from my bed and mom’s. Did a load of uniforms and ironed the ones for this week. Also got a load of towels and whites done. I was out of socks!! I’ve been wearing a lot due to the cold weather. Ick, that goodness it’s back to normal now!
I watched the Colts beat the Ravens! Woo-hoo!! I’m hoping that the next game goes as well because then it’s SUPERBOWL!!!! I almost had to kick DH out of the house for cheering on the Ravens. Um, that’s not allowed in this house. Sorry, I’ve been a Colts fan my whole life and that’s not changing anytime soon!

Sunday

I went to my first Zumba class! Wow what a workout!!! But it was such a blast!!! Me and my girlfriend are going back this week!
Relaxed for most of the day!

I need to clip some coupons and make my menu and shopping list for the week and I’m done. I’m going to try and get some more scrapbooking done. I hope I have some good days at work. I really need them after the days of hell I’ve had. I didn’t get out until 9pm Thursday night. Everyone made a comment because I’m never there past 7:45! I’m usually pretty good about charting but I seriously didn’t open 4 charts until 7:30. I had a discharge at 8:00am and then two at 6pm. Are you freaking kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
