Things have been great around here. Just busy, busy, busy!!!! I don’t have a lot of time for a proper post so a list of what’s been going on. Because if anyone reads this, you know how I love my list!
1. Eid was wonderful and fun. We have become quite the popular couple and had places to be this year. W00-hoo for having a popular husband.
2. My trip was fun. I had way too many In and Out burgers, Yosemite was breathtaking, had my San Francisco fix, almost lost my camera in the Grand Canyon. Found out how much I detest New Mexico and never want to move there. Finally saw my nephew, who is adorable and got to spend some quality time with my sis. And of course took way to many photos!
3. Helped my friend volunteer to make sandwiches and pass them out at the homeless shelter. Found a volunteer website so I can find things to do all the time and not just during Ramadan.
4. I went to a job fair and have two interviews, one hospital that I need to call back to schedule an interview with and an open house for another on Thursday. I’m pretty sure that I’m taking the first one. Tele stepdown at a really good hospital. I also have an interview at the same hospital for tele/trauma.
5. New kitty is wonderful and huge. Starting to become very loving. He is a lot like Caesar in some ways which freaks me out!
6. I have my rough draft of my guest list and the reception and ceremony site picked out! I just have to send the deposit to hold the place. It’s gorgeous!!!! I also have an appointment for dress shopping Sat. Wedding planning is moving along beautifully!
7. We have had a very busy social calendar and have done lots of fun things. It’s great to finally be able to have fun again!!!
So that’s what I’ve been up to in a nutshell. Hopefully my next post will be about me being employed, hahaha!!! Insha’Allah!:)
