The Ramblings of a Strange Little Pixie

  1. I called my preceptor today and she’s never heard of me.   I’m no longer on that floor. I’ve been moved to ICU/CCU. That so rocks.

2. My psych exam went really well.

3. I passed my psych evals. But came to the realization that my instructor is a psychotic idiot. She had enough nerve to tell me that I’m not psych material. Really lady? Did you figure that one out on your own? I only told you from day one that I don’t like psych. And before you go into how bad my paperwork was get the person straight. I didn’t have to redo my freaking papers, that was the other 7 people you kept mixing me up with.

4. I had my psych Hesie. Know how I’m always complaining about just doing average or below average? I so kicked the psych Hesie’s ass. Which is weird because I detest psych. Go figure.

5. I’m going to Ultra Music Fest on Friday.Ultra was so freaking awesome. Deep Dish was awesome as usual. I got an excellent photo of Sharam, my celebrity crush:) Yeah, it’s weird. The Cure was really good too. Yeah, and this whole time I thought Robert Smith was dead. Guess I was wrong.

6. The apartment put in a new washer Monday. W00-Hoo!!! My new vacuum is on it’s way.

And the biggie……….

I TOOK MY LAST NURSING FINAL!!!!!!!!

And I have to say that I so rocked that final.

I’m so exhausted. I have an exam tomorrow and I’m so not ready. When will I learn to be one of those non procrastinating people?

Today was our last day and it was interesting to say the least. Lots of psychosis going on today. So I’m tired and not really making any sense so it’s list time. Because I’m good at those. Now if I could only get good at doing them!

1. I called my preceptor today and she’s never heard of me. She knows nothing about it and thinks it’s a mistake. GREAT! I have to call back tomorrow to hopefully find out that it isn’t and get my schedule for April.

2. I have an exam tomorrow. Blech, but on the bright side I have my final clinical evaluations EVER! Well, here’s hoping:)

3. I have two exams next week. Boo-Hiss. I have a psych cat exam and the final. The final has me breaking out in hives.

4. April 2 is my exit exam. I need at least an 800 so I can graduate. Bonus is that you do get another shot if you mess up the first one. I only plan on taking that damn thing ONCE. I will so kick Hesie’s ass.

5. I am going to Ultra Music Fest on Friday with baby and some friends. That is always a good time. Let’s hope I don’t get sunburned.

6. My washing machine and vacuum cleaner both stopped working on the same day. I think it’s a conspiracy. Well, screw them, they are both being replaced.

That’s what I have to keep telling myself. These last couple of weeks have been CRAZY! They should warn you that nursing school will make one lose their mind. I think the gallons of coffee that I have been drinking do not help much.

I had my last psych lecture today and I have my LAST psych clinical tomorrow. Thursday is my last psych Exam, Monday is the psych CAT exam, then I have my final Tuesday!!!!!

 I also got my first choice of preceptorship, I got tele!!!!:)
